in another review, someone said that this was not true. I can't tell if this is really genuine or not. certainly is built like the poncho I used the army as an 11B. (except the one I had was in ACU.) I am loving. some kind of bad smell when I get it, but most things do when new. I washed it once and the smell went away. so no problem.
